It is 1844 and Henry Lehman is just off the boat from Bavaria. “He took a deep breath, picked up his suitcase and … like so many others he stepped into the magical music box called America.” From the Lehmans’ humble beginning to their humbling end—three centuries in three hours and 20 minutes.
