Just when you thought experimental theater couldn’t get more experimental, Ben Firke takes things one step further. The playwright and co-founder of Jane Roe Presents, a production company that stages short plays to raise funds for abortion and immigrant rights, Firke returns with a new show that blends puppetry and private equity. In this one-man show, an entrepreneur of energy drinks spectacularly bombs a venture capital pitch. Presented by RE/VENUE NYC, a project aimed at reviving New York’s struggling theater scene, the production runs for one night only. Expect audience participation, inventive visuals, and, as mentioned, puppets. Connor Scully directs. —Jeanne Malle
