Peter Harrington, one of the world’s leading dealers in rare books, is having his first exhibition at Frieze Seoul. Focusing on the evolution of religious and cultural texts in East Asia and the West, the exhibition spans over 1,400 years and covers historical eras such as the Renaissance and Japan’s Edo period. Diverse artifacts range from an eighth-century Japanese manuscript called Daihannyaharamittakyo (Great Sutra of the Perfection of Wisdom) to a Banksy canvas of Kate Moss. Honoring the extraordinary beauty of print culture’s products, this exhibition also showcases the depth of Harrington’s antiquarian archive. —Paulina Prosnitz
