It’s Paul Taylor time at Lincoln Center and the rep is a bounty of new works and 10 Taylor classics, including Aureole and Arden Court for lyricism, Promethean Fire and The Word for ferocity, and the ever-fresh Esplanade for pure joy. The company’s resident choreographer Lauren Lovette has two world premieres—Chaconne in Winter and Recess—and Robert Battle has one: Dedicated to You. Jody Sperling premieres Viva La Loïe!, an homage to that fin de siècle sorceress of soaring silks, Loïe Fuller. And Larry Keigwin’s winning Rush Hour captures commuters in their daily murmurations. All performances feature live music by Orchestra of St. Luke’s, under the direction of the marvelous David LaMarche. —Laura Jacobs
