The J. Paul Getty Museum sits on a hilltop in Brentwood, Los Angeles, overlooking a huge swath of the city. Actually being there, in both its tranquil gardens and Richard Meier’s serene interior spaces, is an experience that is difficult to recreate. Though visiting isn’t possible right now, one can take comfort in other delights. Google offers the chance to scroll through thousands of its exhibits, among them the famed pieces that attract tourists from all over the world: Rembrandt’s Rembrandt Laughing, Renoir’s La Promenade, and Van Gogh’s Irises. —E.C.
