For the first time in its 50-plus-year history, the New York Philharmonic’s Concerts in the Parks series is going virtual. Among many summer offerings put on hold, this one will certainly disappoint the New Yorkers across five boroughs who show up in the thousands, along with the fireflies, for these free classical concerts, the biggest of which culminates in fireworks over Central Park. Here, however, is a chance to experience past highlights of the Philharmonic playing outdoors—performances that include stars Andrea Bocelli and Luciano Pavarotti. Check out the global tune-in map to see who else is listening. —J.V.
