NOMAD’s annual winter show places world-class art and design in beautiful settings. Its sixth edition sees a move to Grace la Margna, a restored Art Nouveau hotel nestled among the Engadin mountains, in the center of town. Conceived by Giorgio Pace and Nicolas Bellavance-Lecompte, NOMAD first took place at Villa La Vigie in Monaco, Karl Lagerfeld’s former home, and later expanded to Venice, Cannes, Saint-Moritz, and Capri. Instead of gatherings in cold convention centers, NOMAD chooses something cozier—historical spots that resemble homes. This year marks the unveiling of “Artists in Flux,” a new curatorial project in collaboration with Gucci; it will present works by Lola Schnabel, Yves Scherer, and Tsherin Sherpa. This winter’s participating galleries include Robilant + Voena, Tristan Hoare Gallery, and Zurich’s Gregor Staiger Gallery. —Elena Clavarino
