LCD Soundsystem, James Murphy’s musical brainchild, has been around for a long time and stays cool and evolving. The project’s most recent single is a Tom Sharkett edit of one of the more well-known tracks, “Home.” Groovy and light, it should feel good in Knockdown Center. Aside from that, it’s been a bit of time since Murphy has released music with LCD. The last record, Electric Lady Sessions, was in 2019, so all of us followers are eagerly waiting to hear what he’s been up to. With four nights straight at Knockdown Center, we’ll have plenty of time to get a sense. —Henry McGrath
