The National Museum of Oslo, which opens this June, will be Scandinavia’s largest art institution. One of its first exhibits, “I Call it Art,” surveys Norway’s contemporary art scene while asking the timeless question, What is good art? To create the exhibition of 150 artists from across Norway, the museum deployed outreach tours and open calls, stressing new talent as well as known artists. —Clara Molot
