As music director of Festival Mozaic, Yoo shepherds a Happy Few through the unspoiled landscapes of California’s Central Coast for a week of soul-healing music. The Big Baroque Three—Bach, Vivaldi, and Handel—loom large on the playlists, as do Clara Schumann and Fanny Mendelssohn, composers of the Romantic era at last emerging from the shadows of the admittedly very talented men in their lives (Clara’s husband Robert, Fanny’s brother Felix).
