Would it do Delfeayo good to have a beer with Johann Christoph Friedrich Bach? Perhaps. But far from repining in the shade cast by his brothers Wynton and Branford, the trombonist has staked himself out a prime spot in the hazy New Orleans sun. His galvanic, good-time-rolling big band can be heard most Wednesday nights at this well-named club just outside the French Quarter. (On the 19th, Terrance Taplin sits in for Marsalis.) —E.E.
