“He’s the new dynasty,” said gallerist Gavin Brown in a 2013 New Yorker article on David Zwirner. When Zwirner founded his gallery, in 1993, he was only 28 years old. Since then, David Zwirner has been home to cutting-edge contemporary shows. In honor of the gallery’s new Los Angeles location, its third in that city, the exhibition “David Zwirner: 30 Years” places the gallery’s 80 artists in conversation with one another. Expect big names like Wolfgang Tillmans and Yayoi Kusama, as well as younger artists such as Emma McIntyre. —Zack Hauptman
