In 2015, at the Seventh Habana Biennial, Galleria Continua unveiled Perimetro (Perimeter), a colorful city-street installation by Daniel Buren that is now a permanent Havana landmark. Later that year, in thrall to the country’s mystique, Continua opened up a gallery in Havana’s Chinatown, and has since forged a strong relationship with Cuba’s community of artists. Galleria has now introduced an online viewing room that showcases some of its most prominent Cuban artists: Alejandro Campins, Iván Capote, Yoan Capote, Elizabet Cerviño, Carlos Garaicoa, Osvaldo González, Luis López-Chávez, José Mesías, Susana Pilar, and José Yaque. —E.C.
