The only thing harder than getting a Friday night dinner reservation at the Chateau Marmont, the West Hollywood hotel that has been home to many a star and not a few celebrity benders, is getting a chair at its new Chat Chat Series. André Balazs, the hotelier who bought the Chateau in 1990 and spiffed it up, and his friend Angela Janklow, a writer and Olympic-level talker, will host the salon once a month. The inaugural event, which takes place on April 21, features the artist Ed Ruscha and the writer Bruce Wagner in conversation with Janklow. This is not a last-minute drop-in event.
