Two years later, Stone returns to lead Bugonia, Lanthimos’s latest film, and this time she’s a different kind of naked. A powerful CEO of a major company, she’s kidnapped by two conspiracists—played by Jesse Plemons and Stavros Halkias—who shave her head and subject her to torture after becoming convinced that she is an alien who has come to Earth to destroy it.
