The Night Manager, a 2016 series based on John le Carré’s best-selling spy thriller of the same name, is finally back for a second season. In the first season, Jonathan Pine (Tom Hiddleston), the night manager of a luxury hotel in Cairo, was recruited by a British intelligence officer (Olivia Colman) to infiltrate an arms dealer’s inner circle. Hiddleston and Colman reprise their roles in the show’s return, which sees Pine, now a low-level M.I.6. agent, traveling to Colombia to expose a new arms operation, this time run by a man named Teddy Dos Santos (Diego Calvo). A third season of the show has already received a green light. —Paulina Prosnitz
