Kevin Costner and Morgan Freeman have teamed up to tell the true story of an all-female network of Union spies during the American Civil War. Operating from within Confederate-held Richmond are four women: a wealthy socialite and widow (Mary Louise Parker), her unmarried daughter (Daisy Head), a formerly enslaved woman with a photographic memory (Amethyst Davis), and a conscience-bound courtesan (Hannah James). There are battle scenes, cloak-and-dagger missions, and cameos from figures such as Abraham Lincoln (Don Mullen) and John Wilkes Booth (Charles Craddock).
