Long before Bugatti became shorthand for speed and excess, it was a family name tied to a range of inventive design. Displayed at this summer’s Treasure House Fair, this exhibition brings together sculpture, furniture, and cars by four generations of Bugattis—each a virtuoso in a different medium. From the ornate furniture made by Carlo, the family patriarch, to Rembrandt’s haunting wildlife bronzes, to Ettore and Jean’s genre-defining automobiles, the show traces a family legacy of innovation and elegance. Curated by Edward Horswell, the collection spotlights the Bugatti’s “unabated pursuit for perfection” in their many faces of artistic expression. —Charlie St John
