“You know you are in safe hands with Giovanna Ticciati,” Vogue raved in a 2012 review of the multidisciplinary artist’s discerning tastes. Though Ticciati is known for her work in the interior design space, one trusts that Vogue’s assessment holds true for her side pursuit, the Artisan Collab. Founded to showcase various forms of artisanship, its exhibitions typically display multiple artists, mediums, and techniques, aiming to locate an overarching “unity” between disparate pieces. In partnership with 45 Park Lane, this fall’s Artisan Collab program includes the work of eight international artists and designers, among them the ceramic sculptor Lucy Whitford, the abstract painter Mark Charlton, and the jeweler Pippa Small. What precisely links together their chosen works is not stated; we get to figure it out in person. —Jack Sullivan
