Edward Enninful arrived in London from Ghana at 13 and spent the 1990s at the center of everything. He was styling for i-D at 16; shooting with Corinne Day, Juergen Teller, and David Sims; befriending Kate Moss and the whole rock-chic milieu; and working with Alexander McQueen, John Galliano, and Vivienne Westwood. Tate Britain has given him the keys to curate the definitive exhibition on a decade that he helped shape. The show brings together photography, fashion, art, and design—Teller’s Young Pink Kate (1998), for instance, and works by Damien Hirst, Sarah Lucas, Steve McQueen, and Yinka Shonibare. —Elena Clavarino
