Virgil Abloh was many things—a D.J., an entrepreneur, an architect. Above all, he was an inspired fashion designer, known for fusing streetwear and luxury fashion. Abloh died of cancer in 2021, at only 41. This exhibition presents creations from his last days. Using Louis Vuitton’s prints, he revisted Nike’s 1982 shoe design, the the Air Force 1, which has since become a cultural icon. Crafted in Italy, 47 pairs are on view in Greenpoint. —Elena Clavarino
