The last time King Gizzard & The Lizard Wizard played the Hollywood Bowl was in 2023. The experimental Australian band played a three-hour set and that’s only the tip of the iceberg when it comes to this group. Now they’re back for more with a brand new album, Phantom Island, and they are sure to leave fans with another memorable night. The album has several new hit songs that will be exciting to hear live for the first time, most notably the opening two: “Phantom Island” and “Deadstick.” The journey of genres, emotion, and energy on this record will translate even better live. —Henry McGrath
