The 11th edition of this important international fair and conference takes a political turn. This year the Fair explores the potential of art jewelry to communicate ideologically and even diplomatically. Particpants in the fair are chosen by a seven-person jury that includes Pravu Mazumdar, the Indian philosopher and contemporary jewelry specialist, and Alba Cappellieri, director of the Jewellery Museum in Vincenza, Italy. —L.J.
