During her storied career, the South Korean artist Haegue Yang has been noted for her distinct style. Yang’s penchant for creating multisensory experiences and her use of various mediums is well-documented. This October, the first major exhibition of work by the Benesse Prize-winning artist comes to the U.K. “Leap Year” features two of Yang’s most well-known pieces—Light Sculptures and Sonic Sculptures—and showcases three new commissions. The immersive show reflects what has always been Yang’s strong point: her use of an everyday object to illustrate a profound political, moral, or spiritual issue. —Alice Browne
