“I have always said that I wanted to be Africa’s visual ambassador,” says the artist and entrepreneur Jean Pigozzi. “In putting together my collection, I wanted to speak as little as possible about the dark part of Africa. I wanted to show a happy Africa, its visual richness.” In “Expressions d’Afrique,” curated by Dr. Jérôme Neutres, that wish comes true.
