New York City-based artist David Arsham creates fictional archaeology, turning contemporary objects into coded, calcified, and glitched-out artifacts. His art spans mediums that include film, painting, sculpture, and installation. At his second show for Perrotin Tokyo, Arsham presents three new bodies of work, ranging from still life paintings to metal sculptures to movie posters made in hydrostone with blue calcite and quartz crystals. Prepare to lose yourself in modern ruins. —Clara Molot
