If there’s one thing we’ve learned from this pandemic it’s that the arts are not a frill, they’re the world’s connective tissue. An orchestra coming together through Zoom. Socially distanced plays streamed live. Archival operas and ballets presented daily online. Art exhibitions moving to the internet. When it’s time to see art in person, Cromwell Place will be there. With the architecture firm Buckley Gray Yeoman at the helm, five listed and storied Georgian townhouses in South Kensington, London, have been sensitively renovated into a state-of-the-art space for art exhibitions and the business of art. Member galleries are global and multidisiplinary. —L.J.
