I had no idea, when I stepped into the murky swamp of adultery, what I’d discover. The subterfuge, the deceit. And that was just the survey.

My husband can breathe easy. I’m not the adulterous one. I just wanted to research my third novel, about three women, one of whom has a long-running affair with a married man. Having not had an affair with a married man myself, I needed to gather material.
