Foraged treasure.

Urbani’s Black Winter Truffles are a true natural treasure from Italy. Rare and indulgent, they are sought after by epicureans & Chefs around the globe who see them as black gold—Highly valued for their delicate, earthy aroma and rich complex flavor. They're only available for a short season each winter.

You'd be wise to shave it over scrambled eggs or a simple risotto, and we'd certainly not stop you from putting it on a pizza (you might wanna snap up a one of our truffle slicers to help you get the job done!)

How to Care for your Truffles Wrap truffles individually in a paper towel or put in a breathable container, and store at room temperature in a dark spot. They can be stored in an airtight container on the top shelf of your fridge for a slightly longer shelf-life. Change the paper towel daily if using. To clean use a clean soft-bristled brush. Do not rinse with water or soap.

Remember: Truffles do not like humidity!

Truffles are best enjoyed as fresh as possible, we recommend consuming fresh truffles within two to three days after receipt (up to a week if refrigerating). Do not freeze.

Ingredients: Tuber melanosporum vitt (black winter truffle).

  • Made in: Italy.

Urbani Truffles

Italy
Urbani’s passion for truffles is well-woven into its history. It all started in Italy back in 1852, when Constantine Urbani began sending fresh truffles to France. Fast forward over 160 years and this family business is the world’s most esteemed distributor of Italian truffles, exporting their delicacies (which are gathered by a team of beloved truffle hunters) all over the world.
