    I don’t know why I didn’t buy these before. I actually do a lot of welding, but I do TIG welding and there’s no splatter. It’s a very clean process.
    I bought these specifically for when I cut by Bogan Villa bushes that are right by the pool they always stick my arms and when I’m hedging the hedges around the side of the house, it poked me in my arms, usually end up bleeding at some point every time I do this I bought these and they’re perfect. Nothing goes through them. They’re not that hot to wear, they’re very comfortable. The elastic wristband is snug enough to hold them, but not to cause any discomfort and the top has a Velcro attachment or you can attach it without squeezing your arm, and the leather is thick up towards stands up on its own for the most part it doesn’t fall down your arm WELDING, if you’re doing landscaping to save a box of Band-Aids a week Lol

    I did NOT buy these for welding. I bought some wire wheel disks (from amazon) for a grinder. After using one of them for 60 seconds I had been stuck several times with wires flying out of the disk. My arms and chest were bleeding. One hit so deep it hit a vein in my arm. Bloody mess. I bought an aprin and these arm guards for protection. These stop 99% of the wires and the ones that get thru barely made it thru. I am in alot less pain. lol. will buy again

    Yes I know a smart person would just throw the disks out and buy new ones. The thing is all of these wheel do the same thing. These wheels just did it ALOT faster than ANY other I have EVER used. I should have already owned an aprin and arm guards.

    These are the first welding sleeves I've had, and I am really liking them! No need to wear an uncomfortably hot full jacket! The leather on these is plenty thick and will last longer than I will! The "one size fits most" size is actually better for smaller people. These are a bit too small for me... at least I don't have to use the velcro closures to tighten them up. You folks with big arms might want to opt for the larger size, or if you try the "one size fits most", check them out right away so you can return for the bigger ones if need be.
