amille Miceli is Pucci’s creative director of some four years standing. Actually, “standing” is far too boringly static a term for her. Miceli thinks, moves, and laughs—especially laughs—at a hyper-speed pace. Take our meeting, for instance. Ostensibly it’s to chat about Pucci, where she has rejuvenated the near 80-year-old brand renowned for its jet-setting ways by understanding it’s really about fun, gorgeousness, and not overthinking it, emphasizing its strong artisanal roots (her desire for prints drawn by hand, say) as much as a groovy and sometimes delightfully goofy Gen Z vibe.
