“I Kusama, am the modern Alice in Wonderland,” wrote Yayoi Kusama in 2012. Stepping into one of her famous Infinity Mirror Rooms really does feel like falling down the rabbit hole. Abstract shapes in changing colors are reflected from all angles. And Kusama’s polka dots—her signature silhouette and punctuation mark—possess a sense of otherworldliness. In “Love is Calling,” ICA/Boston presents one of Kusama’s most famous Wonderlands. Advance timed tickets are required. —E.C.
