“Become one with eternity,” Yayoi Kusama instructs her viewers. Famous for the immersive installations she calls Infinity Mirror Rooms, the Japanese artist is honored with an exhibition at the Tate Modern. Two of her renowned installations, Infinity Mirrored Room—Filled with the Brilliance of Life and Chandelier of Grief, are being shown with photographs that track the history of Kusama’s hugely popular room-sized universes. These unique microcosms of refracted, repeating lights and crystals allow visitors to lose themselves in the illusion of infinity. —Sabina Vitale
