DESCRIPTION:Sep 16 - Dec 20\, 2026\nHaving inherited their grandfather’s
photography studio in Trieste\, in 1928\, Wanda and Marion Wulz transforme
d it into one of the most artistically ambitious commercial practices in i
nterwar Italy. They photographed artists\, actors\, dancers\, and athletes
while pushing the medium in a more experimental direction. Wanda’s I +
 Cat (1932)\, a self-portrait superimposed with the face of a cat\, became
one of the most recognizable images of Italian Futurist photography. The E
storick Collection is now presenting the first major U.K. exhibition devot
 ed to the sisters\, a mix of studio portraits\, commercial commissions\, a
 nd avant-garde experiments.
