Vivienne Westwood: Get a Life!

Dallas Contemporary / Dallas

Does the idea of being an environmentally-conscious fashion designer sound crazy? Vivienne Westwood designs clothes, she’s spent years crusading in the name of climate change, and she doesn’t care if anyone thinks she’s crazy. The exhibition “Get A Life!” opens with a larger-than-life portrait of Westwood, taken by photographer Juergen Teller, and a simple note that reads: “My point of view is heretical. My enemy is the status quo.” Westwood’s passionate activism is displayed through photography, film prints, hand-drawn illustrations, and pieces from her collections. —J.V.
