From Jesse Green, the producer and director of the NY Emmy-nominated Broadway Sandwich, which follows Broadway stars in their daily lives between shows, this new series on the All Arts network pulls back the curtain on the theater, inviting viewers to witness plays in their early stages. With play houses shuttered for the time being, Uncommon Voices—which features Tony-nominated actress Pascale Armand (Eclipsed, also starring Lupita Nyong’o) and Tony-winning actor André De Shields (Hadestown)—offers a window into live theater and its development through interviews with playwrights, directors, and early clips from new plays. —J.V.
