 riods. One could even say that Stein\, an advocate for the avant-garde\, a
  champion of Cubism\, curated it. Her literary salon at 27 rue de Fleurus\
 , just off the street from the Luxembourg Gardens\, was a meeting place fo
 r Hemingway\, Fitzgerald\, Picasso\, and Matisse. She called them “The L
 ost Generation.” Meanwhile\, The New York Times christened her apartment
  “the first museum of modern art.” This exhibition in Austin peers int
