  program Wagner: Myth and Music remains under wraps. Full disclosure: it
 ’s unlikely to be “Ring”-exclusive. But why should it be? The compan
 y’s unflagging commitment to the full Wagner canon is a matter of record
 . The dynamic British Wagner specialist Alexander Soddy\, new to Lyric\, i
 s the conductor\, privileged to give the brand-new David W. and Orit K. Ca
 rpenter Concert Shell its first spin. If all goes as we’re hoping\, the 
 sound of voices and instruments will bounce into the Lyric’s overlong sh
 oebox of an auditorium with an immediacy never heard there before. The fea
 tured soloist is Christine Goerke\, her presence as good as an I.O.U. for 
 Brünnhilde’s Immolation Scene from Götterdämmerung to ring down the c
 urtain.
