With three great roles, The Night of the Iguana—Tennessee Williams’s last masterpiece of desire, sin, and redemption—has a history of great casts. It premiered on Broadway in 1962 with Patrick O’Neal, Bette Davis, and Margaret Leighton, who won the Tony for Best Actress as Hannah. The film in 1964 fielded Richard Burton, Ava Gardner, and Deborah Kerr. Now, Clive Owen, Anna Gunn (from “Breaking Bad”), and Lia Williams make their way into that rainforest on the west coast of Mexico. —L.J.
