 in which a renowned group of judges considers and debates the work of arti
 sans from all over the world\, has become a highlight of the international
  art calendar. This year’s pieces from 30 artists\, which were selected 
 from 5\,100 submissions\, are now on exhibit at the National Gallery in Si
 ngapore. And this week\, to great fanfare\, the winner was announced: Jong
 jin Park\, a South Korean ceramist working in porcelain\, paper\, stain\, 
 and glaze\, whose Strata of Illusion (2025) won over a judging panel that 
 included architect Frida Escobedo\, designer Patricia Urquiola\, design cr
 itic Deyan Sudjic\, Metropolitan Museum of Art curator Abraham Thomas\, 20
 25 winner Kunimasa Aoki\, and\, for the first time\, Loewe creative direct
 ors Jack McCollough and Lazaro Hernandez. Special mentions went to Baba Tr
 ee master weavers and Álvaro Catalán de Ocón for Frafra Tapestry (2024)
 \, and to Graziano Visintin for Collier (2025). Should you find yourself i
