The Style Magazine of The New York Times has hailed the Mexican architect Tatiana Bilbao as the force behind her country’s “most elegant buildings.” Grand statements are not part of Bilbao’s working method. She approaches a project sensitively, with a feel for the people who will inhabit her spaces. In this exhibition, which examines Bilbao’s humane and collaborative architectural ethos, the architect herself outlines her latest project—Hunter’s Point community, a San Francisco neighborhood that sits around a local power substation. —E.C.
