DESCRIPTION:Jun 16 - Aug 23\, 2026\nIn 1769\, the Royal Academy launched it
 s annual Summer Exhibition—now the longest-running open-submission show 
 of contemporary art in the world. Many of the works are available for purc
 hase\, with proceeds supporting artists and the Royal Academy’s charitab
 le programs. Over the centuries\, the show has expanded to include not jus
 t painting but also prints\, film\, photography\, sculpture\, and architec
 tural models. This year\, 1\,851 works are on view\, organized around the 
 theme of Interconnectedness. The courtyard installation is by Ugo Rondinon
 e. Newly conceived for the exhibition and titled The Song is You\, it’s 
 a 10-meter L.E.D. sign in rainbow-striped letters.
