Two of them, anyhow. Customarily, the 70-minute song cycle Winterreise occupies a program unto itself. This time, it raises the curtain on the similarly dimensioned symphony deservedly known as “The Great C Major,” a joyous outpouring that advances with the momentum of planets in orbit. Winterreise is performed by the intellectual rock star recitalist Ian Bostridge, author of a much-praised book on the subject, partnered by the A-list Canadian pianist Angela Hewitt. Kent Nagano presides over the symphony. —M.G.
