In an attempt to stymie critical analysis, Albert Oehlen jokingly refers to his work as “post-non-representational.” Like Oehlen, artists Franz West and Christopher Wool are unapologetically rebellious. These three pioneers of Punk are now exhibiting their work together for the first time. The exhibition includes the seminal installation Untitled (2005), a replica of Oehlen’s bedroom in Cologne. And then it’s on to the unruly world of three city-grown misfits. Follow the title and “Ride the Wild.” —E.C.
