A Monthly Culture Matrix For the Cosmopolitan Traveler

Perspectives on Climate

Arcadia Earth / New York

Arcadia Earth unites technology, art, and environmental awareness into what it calls “an immersive augmented reality experience.” Polish artist Basia Goszczynska’s The Rainbow Cave, made from 44,000 salvaged plastic bags, and Israeli artist Tamara Kostianovsky’s Alchemy, which uses discarded clothing to comment on consumer (and slaughter) culture, are reason enough to visit. But on October 30 Arcadia will host a panel discussion and signing of the Daily Overview’s new book. Come hear Overview founder Ben Grant in conversation with artist Zaria Forman and Arcadia Earth founder Valentino Vettori—and then explore the Arcadia exhibit. —J.V.
