“The future is a beautiful time,” the Italian designer and architect Gateano Pesce said in 2017, “everything is possible. With our work, we have to bring the future into the present.” And he does. Perhaps best known for his UP armchair series—Pop Art curves with a bouncy feel—Pesce’s colorful pieces celebrate imperfection, because it’s human, and delight (that’s human, too).
