Cai Guo-Qiang’s striking art installations are often reactions to the world’s injustice. He uses them to combat terrorism, violence, and in this instance, the barbaric treatment of animal species. In the gallery space, nine life-sized replicas of tigers, some suspended from the ceiling, are frozen in space, riddled with dozens of arrows—martyrdoms à la Saint Sebastian. —E.C.
