“That’s the kind of movie I like to make,” the filmmaker Wes Anderson once said, “where there is an invented reality and the audience is going to go someplace where hopefully they’ve never been before.” In 2018, Anderson and his partner, the Lebanese illustrator Juman Malouf, curated a new “someplace” at Vienna’s Kunsthistorisches Museum. By rearranging museum objects into unexpected new collections, they not only made a new show, they commented on the nature of showmanship. Here, in Milan, is a second chance to see their exhibition, named for a mummified shrew in a wooden box. —J.V.
