When the Clark’s first outdoor project was initially conceived, contemporary artists Kelly Akashi, Nairy Baghramian, Jennie C. Jones, Eva LeWitt, Analia Saban, and Haegue Yang were invited to explore its 140-acre campus in the Berkshires, to scout locations that might spur site-specific works. Several years after those early days, the group project is now complete, and the new installations are embedded in the Clark’s landscape, available for viewing day and night. This outdoor project has come at the perfect time. Dislocation, isolation, nature, and resilience are all prominent themes in these reflective, poetic commissions. —E.C.
