Garden of Earthly Delights

Gropius Bau / Berlin / Art

Depicting the wild energies released by the loss of Eden, Hieronymus Bosch’s The Garden of Earthly Delights is both phantasmagory and allegory. Taking its name from the painting, this exhibition asks a handful of young conceptual artists to use the garden as a metaphor, or meditation, through which to express the relationship between nature and human nature. —L.J.
